Getting Married?
Here are some tips for making sure your makeup is the way you want it:
- Always have a trial with your makeup artist so that you know that you are happy with their style and so that they know what you want on your big day. This will ensure everything runs smoothly on the day without any delays.
- Find pictures in magazines or online of makeup that you like to send your makeup artist before the trial. This will give them an idea of what look you want. Also most makeup artists don't cater for all "looks", some looks will be their forte whereas other looks they may refer you to someone else. Make sure you are happy with their style.
- Ask your friends who they have used in the past. Your friends will give you first hand insight into the artist.
- Start looking for a makeup artist early!! Between 6 to 12 months in advance if you can. Brides are usually very organised and makeup artists will book out very fast.
